Magnolia trees are many home owners and gardeners favorite blooming tree. The long awaited blooms are natures signal that spring is really here. The growing climate for various Magnolia tree specimens range from its southern Magnolia Grandiflora to the frigid north with the Magnolia Stellata hybrids. This adaptability coupled with modern hybridizing crosses has given us many hardy Magnolias that will not only grow but thrive as far north as Zone 5 , mid Maine

Alexandrina grows as a small tree with a fragrant Magnolia flower. Alexandrina is a Magnolia tree from the "Little Girl " series.

Magnolia Royal Star

Magnolia Kobus is a very hardy species Magnolia tree that has fragrant blooms early in spring. Kobus Magnolia is a medium sized Magnolia tree.

Royal Star is an improved variety of Stellata magnolia. Royal Star Magnolia is early and very fragrant with large strap petaled flowers. Glistening white blooms completely cover its branches which grow structurally as a small shrub like tree.


Magnolia Waterlily

Waterlily is grown for exceptionally fragrant blooms. It is another improved Magnolia Stellata. Growing only eight to ten foot as a Magnolia shrub style tree.

Ann grows as a small Magnolia tree and is another from the "Little Girl " series. Fragrant Magnolia blooms are saucer cup shaped flowering over a long period of time

Leonard Messel blooms early spring having a light fragrance and showy pink blooms. Magnolia Leonard Messel grows as a wide small tree slowing mounding.

These Magnolias were all found growing and thriving in mid Maine US Zone 5.
